I've only had the amaryllis for 10 days. Nice, firm, and large bulb with tiny tongues of green leaves just peeking out when it arrived. Perfect timing for shipping and to start growing quickly without being damaged from the cold, handling,etc. in the shipping process. It has 2 bud/bloom stalks just emerging from the bulb and the largest leaf is 2"tall. Marvelous! Hope the promised unusual color is just as good.
