The black eyed Susan came and all dry . I planted them according and never have any green leaves yet. So, I am disappointed.
According to the sources I have, the variety of bulb listed here should be the one that produces the saffron threads that can be used as a spice. However, the package that arrives says it is not edible, and does not specifically state which variety of saffron it is. Because of this I’m not sure if it’s what I was looking for, which is a disappointment, and the entire reason I was ordering saffron crocuses was to grow and harvest saffron for my kitchen. Package was intact, so if you’re only looking for ornamental flowers this would still be an option
I'm from the Philippines. Bought smaller bulb size of Joker on this shop few years ago and asked my sister to include it in her Balikbayan Box (package from US to PH). It took around 5 months before it arrived in PH and to my surprise, it was still alive. Around 2 years now and it finally bloomed. Thank you Bloomingbulb! What a nice Amaryllis!
