I don’t think the bulb was sufficiently protected from the cold weather. It had brown edges when it arrived. It was to have been a gift, however I was not comfortable gifting it because it was not green and had browned edges. I had ordered a waxed bulb ftom another company and it came packaged in styrofoam and bubble wrap and had no brown .
