Best of the new Darwin Hybrids, Salmon Impression is a first-class tulip that outdoes other Darwin Hybrids by every measure. Its blooms are the largest of any Darwin, and its strong stems carry the flowers at a lofty 24 inches. It is also earlier blooming, longer lasting, and more weather resistant. Best of all is its wonderful color: a soft salmon pink with delicate edges of a lighter marble pink. It is a very warm color, especially when the blooms glow in the spring sun. A cross between Darwin hybrids and early-blooming Fosteriana tulips, they also have more perennializing tendency than most of the hybrids. Give them proper care and you'll enjoy them for many years.
