Orchid Glads are elegant late-summer bloomers known for their graceful white flowers, striking purple-maroon centers, and light, sweet fragrance. Also commonly known as Peacock Orchids, Abyssinian Gladiolus, Fragrant Gladiolus, Sword Lilies, or Gladiolus murielae, these charming bulbs add a refined look to borders, containers, cottage gardens, and small garden spaces.
Plant Orchid Glads approximately 3–5 inches deep and 4–6 inches apart, with the pointed end facing up. Water well after planting and keep soil moderately moist during active growth. In colder climates, lift bulbs after the foliage dies back in fall and store indoors for winter.
